Proofreading is the simplest, quickest and, yes, cheapest option when you want your writing or documents checked and corrected.
That’s not to say the service is any less thorough or reliable. You can still be assured that your work will be returned free of errors.
It is merely the lightest approach to editing, making it suitable for when you are happy with the writing itself but simply want somebody to check it over for spelling, grammar and consistency.
The proofreader does not seek to rewrite copy, fact-check or make significant structural changes, and does not get involved with page layout or formatting. Consequently, we can offer fast turnaround times and lower rates for proofreading than for full edits.
Proofreading is particularly suitable for business literature, reports, academic content, material by second-language writers and other content which is to be presented in a straightforward manner – though it can (and should!) be applied to all forms of writing.
